TAURUS ENERGY – Taurus Arm for Power Generation is looking for a Field Operator to support operations in our power generation plant. The Field Operator will be responsible for monitoring plant systems, performing skilled mechanical, electrical, and process tasks, and ensuring safe and efficient plant operation. The role involves start-up and shutdown of equipment, responding to alarms, conducting inspections, and supporting maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant equipment from field areas
- Perform routine inspections and report abnormalities Assist in startup, shutdown, and emergency operations
- Maintain safe working conditions and follow HSE policies Coordinate with Control Room Operators for smooth plant operation
- Record operational data and prepare reports Ensure compliance with operational procedures and standards
- Support maintenance activities and troubleshooting
Working Environment
- Outdoor and indoor plant operations
- Exposure to industrial equipment and noise
- Rotational shift duties
- Physically active role requiring field movement
Requirements
Education
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field)
Experience
- Relevant experience in power plant or industrial operations preferred (GE 9E experience preferred).

Skills Required
- Basic understanding of power plant systems
